Marine Inc. offers the most experienced Service Department in the Western United States.
Service Manager, Bill Peters has over 30 years experience in boat and engine repair. Bill’s vast experience includes competitive boat
racing, engine design and hull manufacturing. This high level of knowledge greatly benefits our
customers, as Bill is able to rapidly analyze problems with customers' boats and engines. Many
customers, as far away as Hawaii, Florida and Washington State send or tow their boats to
Dick Sherrer Marine Inc. for service and repair.
We specialize in ‘Mercury Hi-Performance’ Outboard Engines and Stern
Drives. Additionally, our experienced Service Department also offer service and repair for
‘Force’ and ‘Mariner’ Outboard Engines; and, ‘Volvo-Penta’ Stern
Drives. Dick Sherrer Marine Inc. sponsors several major racing teams, including highly successful
John Lane Racing Team. The success of our sponsored racing teams depends upon the competence, experience and dedication of the

PRECISION MARINE MACHINE SHOP
Dick Sherrer Marine Inc. has a highly experienced full service in-house Precision Marine Machine Shop. Our
shop offers complete rework or repair for Mercury, Force and Mariner Outboard Heads and Engine
blocks.

Mercury, L.A. Sleeve, Wiseco Pistons, and Boysen Reeds products. These same precision products are use in the racing engines built by Dick Sherrer Marine Inc.

Dick Sherrer Marine Inc. is an authorized dealer for
Mercury Engines, Mercury High Performance Engines, Mercruiser, Mercruiser High Performance, Force, Mariner and Volvo-Penta Stern Drives, engines, parts and accessories.
Dick Sherrer Marine Inc. has in stock many parts that have been factory designated NLA, meaning ‘no longer available’. So, if you have special ‘hard-to-find’ or obsolete parts needs, call Dick Sherrer Marine Inc. because we probably
have those parts.

Dick Sherrer Marine Inc. is very fortunate to have many of our employees with 10, 20 and even 30 years of Retail, Service and Marine Machine Shop experience. These men and women are truly the backbone of our company. Here are a few examples:
Bill Peters, our Service and Precision Marine Machine Shop Manager,
has been with Dick Sherrer Marine Inc. since our late founder, Dick Sherrer, opened the business in Norwalk, California in 1970. Bill has a very loyal customer following who ship or tow their boats to our Service Department from as far away as Hawaii, Florida and Washington State.
Mike Mutter is the Retail Sales Store Manager. Mike has been a part of
Dick Sherrer Marine Inc. for nearly nine years, and has over 30 years experience in the Marine Sales and Service industry. Mike is the lead sales representative for your new
Mercury, Force, Mariner or Volvo-Penta Stern Drive marine engine needs. Mike is also able to assist you in any boat trailer needs you may have for either repair or new sales. Mike Mutter wants to make you the best deal in the West, come in and talk to him today.
Laura K. Hogan is the Accounting, Human Resources and Parts & Accessories
Manager. Laura has been working at Dick Sherrer Marine Inc. for 13 years, starting as a young woman being trained and groomed by her uncle and founder Dick Sherrer. Laura graduated from Chapmen University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting. She truly loves the boating business, and has put her whole heart and sole into our success.
Deniella Jones is the Parts & Accessories Assistant
Manager. Deniella has worked at Dick Sherrer Marine Inc. for 10 years, also starting as a young woman. She too, is the niece to the company’s late founder Dick Sherrer. Deniella, and her sister Laura have dedicated themselves to the highly successful operation of the Retail Sales, Parts & Accessories and Service departments at
DSMI.
Service Technicians at Dick Sherrer Marine Inc. are all certified ‘Mercury Repair and Service Technicians’ who have many years of experience in the Marine/Boating industry.
